Announcement! Alpaca Barber is closing at the end of 2026's spring season. We want to thank all our clients for many years of service! We will be sharing a list of other Shearers in July, please don't delay to contact them for future shearing services. Thank you!

After 28 years in business, we have made the difficult decision to close. We want to thank all our clients for so many years of loyalty and support. You will all be greatly missed!

We promised a list of other shearers that service Michigan and here it is. Please know this is not an all-inclusive list and the names and businesses are in no particular order. We recommend you research who is going to be the best fit for your needs. Some of the shearers listed may only service a single species, so be sure to check which animals they service before booking! Please don't wait to get on their schedules/lists for shearing, many shearers schedule many months in advance!

*Also check out the Michigan Sheep Producers Association website as they have a list of sheep shearers readily available. At the time we checked this list we did see a shearer listed who we have been told by several other sources that they have retired, so make sure to check for yourselves who is available for scheduling.
